Musician Specifics:

Arrive at venue ½ hour prior to performance and start and end on time
Perform acoustically or at a considerate volume
Bring whatever equipment necessary to perform.
Be respectful of porch hosts and neighbors
Accept all liability for your own equipment
Feel free to sell merchandise and collect tips during your set
Performers will receive payment of $150 per musician up to 4 musicians per band. (Maximum payment for one band is $600.)

I (WE) GIVE SIGGY'S MUSICAL GARDEN (PARENT ORGANIZATION OF SUPERIOR PORCHFEST ) CONSENT TO USE SEGMENTS OF MY PORCHFEST PERFORMANCE FOR PROMOTIONAL PURPOSES ON SOCIAL MEDIA PAGES, WEBSITES, AND PRINT. EITHER IMAGE, LIKENESS, PHOTOS AND VIDEOS, SONGS TO BE USED IN EITHER AUDIO AND OR VIDEO FORMAT.

I (we) understand that I will need to be available from 5:30-8:30 On scheduled performance evening. I (we) understand that I (we) need to be present at performance location 20 minutes prior to performance time. I (we) agree to start and end performance at scheduled time. (Most sets are 2 hours.) I (we) agree to be respectful of the neighborhood and maintain appropriate (acoustic or near acoustic) volume. I (we) understand that there will be portable bathrooms available and will not ask to use the bathroom of homeowners. I (we) understand Siggy’s Musical Garden is not liable for any damage to equipment or personal injuries. I (we)understand that Superior Porchfest is a family friendly event and will play only appropriate music. I (we)understand that I will need to bring all necessary equipment. (Superior Porchfest music coordinator will contact you regarding sound equipment that may be provided for use.) I (we) agree to allow Siggy’s Musical Garden to spotlight the performance link provided (if applicable) on the Superior Porchfest Facebook page to promote your band and the festival. I (we) understand that submitting this application is not a guarantee of participation. (Superior Porchfest will notify musicians two weeks after open call ends in April.) All members of the band agree to the terms and I have been granted permission to sign on their behalf.

Porch Host

Become a Superior porch host! Would you like to host a porch (or patio, or driveway) for Superior Porchfest 2024?

Host Specifics:

Be willing to donate your porch for the entire time frame
Have a power source accessible to musicians (extension cords reaching performance area for minimal power usage.)
Fill out the online application. Include any special requests.
Be hospitable to performers (Porchfest volunteers will provide cases of water to each porch for musicians. Portable bathrooms will be available for musicians, patrons, and volunteers. (No one should need to enter your home.)
Offer trash and recycling receptacles for patrons
Ensure that someone responsible for your home is onsite at all times during the event

We are looking for people who love this city by the lake and want to play a role in this heartfelt endeavor of strengthening community ties through music and art. Good news!
